The AlumniStudent Mentoring Program of TISS Alums Association brings alumni and postgraduate students of Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) together for professional growth. Alumni (mentors) provide valuable insights on navigating through the postcollage world. Students (mentees) build career networks and develop skills to become better professionals and leaders.
About the program:
The AlumniStudent Mentoring Program is a year long program hosted by the TISS Alums Association (TISSAA). We pair students with alumni who are working in the field the student is hoping to peruse. The program is designed for the both 1st and 2nd year Postgraduate students of TISS. During this period mentors can assist mentees to decide their career path and address the skill gap between theory and practice as required in the professional field. Thus the program will run from the month of August 2016 to March 2017 and is structured around monthly mentor and mentee meetings and includes two oncampus meeting (for local mentors only) across semesters, i.e. one oncampus meeting per semester. This program is for all the students across all postgraduate courses conducted by TISS, so all students are encouraged to apply.
