Dear Candidates,

We have received representations from some of you regarding suspected errors in calculation of the final score. We have verified the entire marking scheme and the software used for generation of final score. We have found that the marking scheme and the software do not have any error and the calculation of weighted score is correct. However, we have identified an error in the (offline) Personal Interview (PI) marks of candidates attended PI (only) for MA in Applied Psychology (with Specialisation in Clinical and Counseling Practice) programme offered by the School of Human Ecology of Mumbai campus during 12th -16th March 2020. The panels have inadvertently awarded the marks out of 30 instead of 75 which is done for all other programmes. Hence the weighted score of the component have dropped while converting this to 100 before assigning the due weightage of 40%. This inadvertent error happened only for this program at the panel level and only for candidates who appeared for PI during 12th -16th March 2020 for the said programme.

For candidates who attended Online Personal Interview (OPI), both TISS NET Score and OPI were marked out of 100 and hence the score received were directly processed in 60:40 ratio.

We are rectifying this error and will revert on this on our admission website soon.

We would like to emphasize that no such errors happened for any other programme and the scores for all other programmes are correct and free of any errors.

This is issued with approval of the competent authority.
