The German Patent (Utility Model) has been granted for a System to Account for the Impact of COVID 19 on the Household Economy.

The German Patent (Utility Model) has been granted for a System to Account for the Impact of COVID 19 on the Household Economy. Our innovation has two components. First, it integrates the household data and macroeconomic accounting to compute the wage loss and the earning loss. Second, there is a formula to compute the employment transition probability over a window of seven days. And it is based on the paper "The Impact of COVID-19 on the Household Economy of India" (https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC8596369/)

The patent was issued in May 2022.
