Qualification

PhD (Pursuing from TISS, Mumbai), MPhil TISS Mumbai, MSW - Visva bharati santiniketan, BSW - Visva bharati santiniketan

Jackson Khumukcham is Assistant Professor at the Mahatma Gandhi Academy of Human Development (MGAHD) Nagaland Off-centre of Tata Institute of Social Sciences – Guwahati Campus. He is pursuing Ph.D. from Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai. He has passed the national eligibility test JRF-UGC in June 2011.  He is a former Dalai Lama Fellow (2013 batch) and has participated at Brown University’s International Advanced Research Institutes (BIARI) – 2018. Besides, he is professionally trained in the traditional music of Manipur, Baul (West Bengal), and Sufi (Punjab, India). In the field of creative performing art form, he is honoured with the National Bal Shree Award – 2000, by the then President of India. His research domain is focusing on Entrepreneurship of Indigenous people, Business Model and value creation, Livelihoods, and Sustainable Development specific to the Northeastern region of India.
