Ms.Jayabala Girish is currently working as an assistant professor and earlier was heading the content Department at School of Vocational Education. She has a teaching experience of over 24 years and also has been authoring the support literature of English language for the students of Junior College since 2012 till date. She is a member of the board of studies of SIES College of Economics and Commerce since 2019.

She teaches Language Education , Academic Skill courses across Bachelors and PG programs at School of Vocational Education.

Jayabala is currently pursuing Ph.D and her research is on developing design thinking models for the educators of vocational education.

She has presented papers on critical pedagogy .

The conference paper ‘ Emerging Trends and Innovation in Vocational Education’ was published in UGC CARE listed journal Education and Society (published by Indian Institute of Education, Pune. ISSN 2278 -6864)

Ms.Jayabala has extensive teaching experience across a diverse range of cohorts.

She has taught the undergraduate students for over 21 years. Also has an experience of teaching B.Ed students for over two years.

She was appointed as an examiner by Maharashtra State Board of Higher Secondary Education in 2003 and she continued as board examiner till 2017.

She has developed the support literature ( Reliable Series ) , for English for the students of XI and XII for over one decade.
