Ms. Merin Jacob is an Assistant Professor at the Centre for Social and Organizational Leadership, School of Management and Labour Studies. She did her PhD in organizational behavior from the Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode. Her research interests are in areas of creativity and innovation, constraint-driven creativity in organizations, organizational search activities, bricolage, emerging economies, and behavioral theory of firms. A research paper (developed from her doctoral thesis) received the best paper award at the British Academy of Management (BAM) Conference 2017, held at the University of Warwick, United Kingdom. She was also awarded the Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) in Human Resource Management in the National Eligibility Test  (NET) conducted by UGC. 

Research interests:

Creativity and innovation, constraint-driven creativity in organizations, organizational search activities, bricolage, emerging economies,  behavioral theory of firms and workplace emotions
